Parking:
Goals:
- Create temporary parking plan. Monitor parking patterns. Temporary suspend towing except where vehicles are blocking residential entry. Status: COMPLETED December 2024
- Register all vehicles in Courtyard on new website Status: in progress. ___% registered. Completion deadline: February 2025
- Negotiate with Weston Public Library to allow for overnight parking. Status: Library denied our request for parking.
- Create a permanent parking plan that benefits residents while limiting parking enforcement costs and towing and maintaining the community curb appeal. Conduct survey/ poll of residents before finalizing plan. Status: in progress. Targeted completion date: end of March 2025.
Safety & Security:
Goals:
- Open school crossing gates to allow students ease of access to and from school. Status: COMPLETED January 2025. Install privacy for gate: completed February 2025. Install pavers and security cameras as the gates: pending install March 2025.
- Monitor school traffic, work with city officials, police and volunteers to provide traffic control and school drop off and pick up times. STATUS in progress. Targeted completion date: additional patrols assigned to CY February 2025. Monitor and control: continuing.
- Return security patrol at targeted limited hours. Evaluate security companies and proposals and select vendor. Status: in process reviewing proposals will be on agenda for March BOD meeting
- Trap gate: finalize install of trap gate to prevent tailgating. Status: pending one permit. Will continue to follow up with the CITY.
Maintenance:
Goals:
- Remove rust in the community to improve curb appeal. Status: pending electrical pump to install to power the rust off system: completion target date : in progress February 2025
- Pavement: review contracts to do spot repairs and etching. :target completion March 2025.
- Resolve issue of pet debris and rodents. STATUS rodent inspection was completed in January. No poison was discovered. Proposal submitted to install rodent traps in the community. Pending community comment. Install more dog poo bag receptacles. Status: 4 additional receptacles ordered. Pending install. Report and fine repeated offenders for not picking up after their pets.
- Conduct monthly walk through to identify and fix maintenance issues throughout the community. Status: next walk through is on Saturday March 1, need volunteers to walkthrough the neighborhood and create a list of maintenance items. Goal is to complete the maintenance items by the first week of March 2025.
- Aging roofs: evaluate various roofing vendors to provide a group rate to residents for roof repairs expected within the next 3-5 years.
